A Muse Studio: Sweet and Simple Thank You

First things first: I have not found the right light in my new house yet, and every picture I have taken since we moved here is simply awful. This one is no exception. This is not a dark house, I just haven't found the right room and the right time of day. It's all about light. Light. Light. Light. Follow the light...
This Sweet and Simple, my version of CAS, can be mailed with one stamp. I'd like a round of applause, please. I need thank you cards for customers, and I need for them to NOT cost $1.95 each to mail.

When I discovered patterned paper seven or eight years ago, I quit using background stamps of any kind. Well, A Muse Studio has SO many fabulous background stamps, I just can't resist them. Here I used Polka Dot Patterns, which I think is the cutest, I hope you like it, too!

Supplies(ALL a|s):
Stamps: Polka Dot Patterns, Essential Sentiments
Paper: Sugar, Buttercup Gingham
Ink: Buttercup, Seattle
The tiny flowers are no longer available, it's a shame, I know.

Take this down...

The A Muse Studio Holiday Catalog has the CUTEST little sticky note memo cubes you ever saw!! When I found out we were going to carry them, I got right on designing a gift with the memo cube I had on hand. I stamped the sides with the Harlequin Background stamp, then made a little cardstock wrap and lid. I was pretty impressed with myself over the lid. I don't generally even understand how 3D things go together, designing my own was quite a feat. I also used the beautiful Sea Shells set to pretty it up, and some gorgeous satin ribbon. Now, I have to tell you that the cubes we carry are about half this size. I can't wait for you to see them!

If you would like your very own copy of the new catalog, just let me know. They are $3.95, and I'll cover the postage.

A Muse Studio Supplies:

Stamps: Harlequin, Sea Shells, Just My Type
Ink: Heather, Amethyst
Paper: Buttercup, Sugar
Accessories, Victorian Labels Dies 1, Heather Satin Ribbon, white eyelet, Vanilla Twine

Boy Birthday Card

Come party with us at the Highline Room on Thursday, July 19 at 7pm. I have all kinds of fun projects planned for my Farewell Paper Party!
I made this card in February, so I am having a hard time remembering how I colored it. It looks like Koh-i-noor pencils, which is one of my favorite ways to color. Even though I have three sons, I rarely make a card for boys. This set came with the consultant pre-order for the 2012 catalog. At first I was pretty lukewarm about it, but I actually love the way this card went together, and I enjoyed working with this set.

Praying For You

No one wants to make a sympathy card, or a card for a hard time. However, think about how you might brighten someone's day, even if it's just for a moment. This card could have any sentiment, though. I used our shimmer chalks, and I LOVE them! I've been using my SU! chalks for 12 years, but when I joined A Muse Studio, I thought I'd better have what we sell. I'm SO glad I did! These chalks are so pretty, I have a hard time resisting a little eye job in the middle of cardmaking. I KNOW some of these colors would look GOOD on me!;)

The sentiment has a matching die set!! It was absolutely one of the first things I ordered out of the 2012 Inspiration Guide.

A Muse Studio has these things for consultants called Ready To Roll Workshops. You can just check the pdf and copy the projects, which is super easy because all supplies and instructions for creating the item are right there. You can even buy samples already made, and the supplies all bundled together. It's an incredible time saver!

Anyway, this box template is from a RTRW. It looks nothing like the original and uses none of the same supplies, but the box is fun, fast and easy to make and can be made to suit any occasion. I went crazy with dies on this one and used flower set 1, banner die, and the cupcake companion die set. a|s carries a lovely selection of top quality felt and packs of buttons bursting at the seams.

If you'd like to learn how to make this box, just let me know! I'd be happy to do a Paper Party for you and your friends!
